Definition & Strategy
Requirements

The user is often overlooked as a stakeholder in the requirements gathering process, but their needs play a key role in the success of a Web site or application design project.

As user experience specialists, we are experts at identifying user needs and can represent the user as a stakeholder in the requirements gathering process. We can also help prioritize requirements based on those likely to have the highest impact on users to ensure that you get the greatest return on your investment.

If there are no requirements for a design project, we can function as business analysts, talking to all stakeholders, identifying their needs, and translating those needs into requirements.

Metrics and Web Analytics

Metrics are way to measure the success of the design project. They can also be used to calculate the ROI for a project.  If you need to quantify the ROI for your project, we can work with you to determine appropriate metrics.

We can also help you identify and set up Web analytics tools that allow you to measure site usage.

Strategy

We create a detailed plan of action to help you achieve your short-term and long-term goals. While the strategy varies depending on the project, it will generally include:

  • Prioritized recommendations for creating or improving (depending on the project) the  user experience
  • Activities that would be conducted to achieve the best results
  • A timeline of all activities and deliverables needed

The eXperient Difference

At eXperient, we work closely with you through all phases of the design process.

We’re not only going over design options with you, but we’re sharing what goes into them – findings from usability activities, best practices, the latest research, and what we know from our extensive experience working with users.

Clients tell us what they like about working with eXperient is how much they learn – about their users and about how to make design decisions. This stays with clients long after a project is finished.
