Information Architecture
In the design phase, we go through the process of solving the problems we learned about the Discover phase—and deliver the solution.

Content Inventory

A content inventory identifies all pages and content on the site or in the application. For an existing Web site or content-intensive application, it’s used as a starting point for the team to identify content that exists, and the content that is and isn’t needed. It’s also used to consider new content that will need to be generated in the project.

Site Maps

A site map is a map of all of the pages on the site. It shows the hierarchy and organization of the pages.

Workflows

A workflow is a representation of the decisions the user makes while interacting with the site or application, and what happens with the site or application as a result.  Workflows are particularly useful in representing more complex transactions in which the user is making numerous decisions to complete a task and the underlying system logic is complex.

Wireframes

A wireframe is black and white representation of a Web or application page, similar to a blueprint for a house. Black and white is used to focus on the layout and the page elements without the bias of the visual design.

The eXperient Difference

At eXperient, we work closely with you through all phases of the design process.

We’re not only going over design options with you, but we’re sharing what goes into them – findings from usability activities, best practices, the latest research, and what we know from our extensive experience working with users.

Clients tell us what they like about working with eXperient is how much they learn – about their users and about how to make design decisions. This stays with clients long after a project is finished.
